1) Listen to the following dialogue:

4) The impersonal form si + the verb:
We use this form when we talk about what is generally done. It is formed with si + the verb. If the noun which follows is singular we use the third person singular form of the verb. If the noun which follows is plural we use the third person plural form of the verb.
Examples:
Qui si parla italiano.
(You speak Italian here.)
Qui si rispettano gli orari.
(You respect the schedule here.)
Non si riesce ad aprire la porta.
(You can’t open the door.)
“Cosa si fa?”
(What shall we do?)
